Description

This role is ideal for a highly motivated and results-oriented individual with a passion for the logistics industry. The Business Development Manager will play a key role in expanding the company's freight forwarding business in Southeast Asia by establishing new accounts, developing client relationships, and driving revenue growth.

 

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of international freight forwarding practices and a proven track record of success in sales and business development. They will be a resourceful and entrepreneurial individual with excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. The ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and collaborate effectively with a diverse team is crucial.

Job Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to acquire new freight forwarding clients.
  • Create and execute targeted sales action plans aligned with company goals.
  • Achieve and surpass sales targets and budgets.
  • Generate regular reports for management, tracking key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Manage existing client relationships and identify opportunities for further collaboration.
  • Participate in global and local tenders to win new project business.
  • Collaborate effectively with internal teams (operations, logistics) and overseas branches.
  • Maintain strong working relationships with external partners, including freight forwarders, service providers, and government agencies.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies and regulations.
